Where do you provide services?
Recreation Respite is offered in-home and out in the community.
Do you provide personal care like bathing and giving medication?
No, we do not provide personal care for clients nor do we give medication as we are not qualified to do so. Our main goal is to focus on you or your loved one's recreation and leisure goals.
Are there additional costs?
For clients and activities outside of 25 kilometer radius of Hensall, a charge of $0.60 per kilometer is applied. Depending on your session and the materials used, there may be some (minimal) extra costs. All supplies, and admissions will be an additional cost. For example, if your session is bowling and you require transportation, there will be extra fees for the mileage to the bowling facility as well as the cost of the games for bowling.
How long are sessions?
Recreation Respite is a minimum of 2 hours. We offer a free consultation for Recreation Respite services to navigate this and find best schedule to fit your loved one's needs.
Do you offer support for children?
Yes, our 1:1 Recreation Respite is for ages 4 and up.
